they are not mere police Ayyappans,, they are the Ayyppans

Saw the photo of two civil police officers ( Police Ayyappans or Police Swamis) carrying a handicapped devotee to the Sannidhaanam at Sabarimala.

Touching the heart..

I could not help feeling like this.

"they are not mere police Ayyappans,, they are the Ayyppans..

Somehow we simply presume that soldiers, the civil police officers, the firemen exist only to serve others and that they are being paid by the State for that..

But can the State or society ever reward them adequately?

And most of them exceed their strict official duties to serve others..

( In our arrogance we highlight only the aberrations..)
