Hindu faith and philosophy are multi dimensional.
Various thought leaders have given their own theories.
The proponents of bhakthti etc would canvas the idea that there can be approach to god and moksham even without rituals.
But the sticklers to rituals and vedic rites would say that their path is the right one.
It is a multiplicity of ideas.
The problem arises when we try to mix up these paths.
If you are travelling by an aircraft you cannot suddenly jump into a train and continue the journey .
But you can travel and reach the destination by sticking on either to aircraft or train.
Most of the religious ideas are just indicators of some particular path.
We have to realize that destination alone is important.
People fight in futility over modalities and lose sight of the destination.
Study of alphabets is important but such study will hardly fetch us doctorates
