I think what we have to attain by sadhana an unprejudiced and impartial mindset.. Everything else will follow, In fact I was reading a text on Vedanta and emancipation of the being from life cycles,, and it is seen that if one wants to attain he has to clinically sterilize himself of all Papams and Punyams too.. The emancipation starts from an almost empty platform.. This is endorsed by all sort of Vedantins.. advaita, dvaita, vishistaadvaita and even other minor schools.. But what I state is just theory, and it is very difficult for us , maybe impossible, to attain such a state of neutrality of near vacuum..
