it is not right to just harp on such sacrifices.. and feel mercenary

My friend says that Sacrifice in human relations is great but it is not right to just harp on such sacrifices.. and feel mercenary.. Agreed..

But there is another side to the story

In fact it is equally important that the other partner in transaction and who receives some favour should compensate such receipts with gratitude, love and affection so much so that the person who gave would never feel that he has sacrificed something.. but that the love and care showered on him is worth far more than what he ever gave.

We stand in queue to see Balaji of Tirupati for so long.. it is a great sacrifice.. but it is a sacrifice only till the moment arrives when we are ushered into that imposing and yet merciful presence and we have a glimpse of that face.. even though just for some seconds..

We never think of the sacrifice any more but we would be counting on the next occasion when we can join the queue again and have a glimpse of Him again..

Perhaps He is the greatest master in human relations..

With a smile He can captivate anyone of anything..
