कर्तुं इष्टं अनिष्टं वा कः प्रभुर्विधिना विना।
कर्तारं अन्यं आरोप्य लोकस्तुष्यति कुप्यति॥

kartuṁ iṣṭaṁ aniṣṭaṁ vā kaḥ prabhurvidhinā vinā|
kartāraṁ anyaṁ āropya lokastuṣyati kupyati||

Only the Supreme one, the creator and the author of Destiny, is having the capacity to make or mar anything and only that being actually controls all that is happening, whether what happened is good and favourable or adverse and prejudicial. However, people tend to attribute these actions to the doership of some particular persons and are pleased when what is done turns out to be favourable and get angry and agitated when some actions are harmful.
The idea is that it is meaningless to praise or blame ordinary role-players for the happenings in this wide universe. Such happenings are planned designed and executed by the supreme controller.
विधिना विना apart from the Supreme one who decides everything इष्टं something favourable, beneficial अनिष्टं something prejudicial, advers वा either कर्तुं to कः प्रभुः भवति who is capableअन्यं someone else कर्तारं as doer आरोप्य by attributing, by accursiong लोकः the people in general तुष्यति get happy कुप्यति च get agitated, get angry too
കര്തും ഇഷ്ടം അനിഷ്ടം വാ കഃ പ്രഭുര്വിധിനാ വിനാ।
കര്താരം അന്യം ആരോപ്യ ലോകസ്തുഷ്യതി കുപ്യതി॥

പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു നയിക്കുന്ന, വിധി നിര്ണ്ണയിക്കുന്ന സര്വ്വശക്തന് മാത്രമേ ആര്ക്കെങ്കിലും നന്മയും സന്തോഷവും നല്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളോ അല്ലെങ്കില് ഏറെ വിഷമങ്ങളും ദുഃഖവും എല്ലാ വരുത്തിത്തീര്ക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളോ നിശ്ചയിക്കുവാനും നടപ്പാക്കാനും ഉള്ള കഴിവ് ഉള്ളൂ. നല്ലതും നല്ലതല്ലാത്തതും എല്ലാം എപ്പോള് എങ്ങിനെ സംഭവിക്കണം എന്ന് അവന് നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നു.
പക്ഷെ സാധാരണ മനുഷ്യരായ നാം ഏതോ ചില പ്രത്യേക വ്യക്തികളോ മറ്റു ഭൌതിക ശക്തികളോ ചില നല്ല കാര്യങ്ങള് ചെയ്തതായി കരുതി അവരോടു ഏറെ സന്തോഷവും താല്പര്യവും കാണിക്കുന്നു. അതേസമയം ചില ദോഷങ്ങള്ക്കും സംഘര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്കും കാരണക്കാര് ചിള പ്രത്യേക വ്യക്തികള് ആണെന്ന് ധരിച്ച് അവരോടു ദേഷ്യപ്പെടുകായും അവരെ വെറുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
ഇവിടെ ലഭിക്കുന്ന സന്ദേശം ഇതാണ്. നാം പലപ്പോഴും സന്ദര്ഭവശാല് നന്മയും തിന്മയും സംഭവിക്കുമ്പോള് അവയ്ക്ക് സാന്ദര്ഭികമായി ഉത്തരവാദികളായി പെട്ടെന്ന് കാണുന്ന വ്യക്തികളെയും ശക്തികളെയും പുകഴ്ത്തുകയും പഴിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. പക്ഷെ യഥാര്ത്ഥത്തില് ഈ സംഭവങ്ങള് എല്ലാം നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നതും നടപ്പില് വരുത്തുന്നതും എല്ലാം വിധി എന്ന ആ സര്വശക്തന് ആണ്.
