ये न मानित्वमिच्छन्ति मानयन्ति च ये परान्।
मान्यमानान्नमस्यन्ति दुर्गाण्यतितरन्ति ते॥
महाभारते १२-११०-१९
ye na mānitvamicchanti mānayanti ca ye parān|
mānyamānānnamasyanti durgāṇyatitaranti te||
mahābhārate 12-110-19
People who do not run after positions and posts which would give them too much of respect and fetch them lot of importance and praise and at the same time who never hesitate to accord the appropriate respect for persons who deserve such praise and openly pay respects to such persons through gestures like Pranams, would be successful in overcoming even impossible challenges in life
ये which नराःpeople मानित्वं position where one is respected too much न इच्छन्ति do not desire, do not crave for परान् others (who are in respectable positions) मानयन्ति treat with respect due to them मान्यमानान् those who deserve respect नमस्यन्ति pay humble obeisance च too ते they दुर्गाणि impossible, difficult situations, challenges अतितरन्ति overcome
യേ ന മാനിത്വമിച്ഛന്തി മാനയന്തി ച യേ പരാന്।
മാന്യമാനാന്നമസ്യന്തി ദുര്ഗാണ്യതിതരന്തി തേ॥

പ്രമാണിത്തവും പ്രശംസയും മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ ബഹുമാനവും പിടിച്ചുപറ്റാന് മോഹിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് സ്ഥാനമാനങ്ങള്ക്കു പിന്നാലെ ഓടിനടക്കാതേയും അതേസമയം ബഹുമാന്യങ്ങളായ, പ്രശംസ അര്ഹിക്കുന്ന പദവികളില് എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന മറ്റു വ്യക്തികളെ ആദരിക്കാന് ഒട്ടും മടി കാണിക്കാതെ, ഏറെ ആരാധനയും വന്ദനവും അര്ഹിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് പ്രണാമം അര്പ്പിക്കാന് എപ്പോഴും സന്നദ്ധര് ആയിരിക്കുന്ന വ്യക്തികള് ജീവിതത്തില് എത്ര ദുര്ഘടമായ വെല്ലുവിളി അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചാലും അതെല്ലാം തരണം ചെയ്ത് പുറത്തു വരും.
