setbacks are temporary for worthy people

सलिलनिधेरपसृतयः पूष्णोऽस्तमितिः क्षयः शशाङ्कस्य।

विनिपातश्च गुणवतां न जातु वृद्धिं व्यभिचरन्ति॥२३

salilanidherapasṛtayaḥ pūṣṇo'stamitiḥ kṣayaḥ śaśāṅkasya|

vinipātaśca guṇavatāṁ na jātu vṛddhiṁ vyabhicaranti||23

The water front with lots and lots of water might somewhat dry up in the summer season. The sea might recede inwards during tides. However, the water would get filled up as the rainy season comes and the water that withdrew during tide would return when the phase of the moon changed.

The Sun which sets in the west every evening rises up again with old strength the next morning.

The moon which suffers continuous waning during the new moon fortnight grows back into full strength during the next fortnight.

Similary, the setbacks and failures suffered by men of class are merely temporary. Such failure never stand in the way of such great souls bouncing back to glory in full strength.

മഴക്കാലത്ത് നിറഞ്ഞു കവിയുന്ന ജലാശയത്തിലെ വെള്ളം വേനല്‍ വരുമ്പോള്‍ കുറെയൊക്കെ വറ്റിപ്പോയി എന്ന് വരാം. വേലിയിറക്കം സംഭവിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ സമുദ്രം ഉള്ളിലേക്ക് കുറെയൊക്കെ വലിഞ്ഞു പോയി എന്നും വരാം. പക്ഷെ വീണ്ടും മഴ വന്നു ജലാശയം നിറയുന്നു. ചന്ദ്രന്‍റെ ദിശ മാറുമ്പോള്‍ വേലിയേറ്റം അവസാനിച്ചു സമുദ്രം വീണ്ടും പഴയ പോലെ തീരം നിറഞ്ഞു തിരിച്ചു വരും.

ദിവസേന വൈകുന്നേരം ആയാല്‍ സൂര്യന്‍ പടിഞ്ഞാറ് അസ്തമിക്കും. പക്ഷെ അടുത്ത ദിവസം രാവിലെ പിന്നെയും എല്ലാ പ്രൌഡിയോടും കൂടി സൂര്യന്‍ വീണ്ടും ഉദിച്ചു വരും.

കൃഷ്ണപക്ഷത്തില്‍ കുറേശ്ശയായി കലകള്‍ മാഞ്ഞു തീരെ ചെറുതാവുന്ന ചന്ദ്രന്‍, ശുക്ലപക്ഷത്തില്‍ വീണ്ടും വളര്‍ന്നു പൌര്‍ണ്ണമി എത്തുമ്പോള്‍ തന്‍റെ നിറഞ്ഞ ഭംഗിയോടെ മുഴുവനായി നില്‍ക്കും

അതുപോലെ തന്നെയാണ് ബുദ്ധിയും തരവും കഴിവും എല്ലാം കൈമുതലായുള്ള മഹത്തുക്കളുടെ സ്ഥിതിയും. വല്ലപ്പോഴും ഒക്കെ അവര്‍ക്ക് പരാജയങ്ങള്‍ നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നേക്കാം അപചയങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലും സംഭവിച്ചേക്കാം. പക്ഷെ അത്തരം വീഴ്ചകള്‍ തികച്ചും താല്‍ക്കാലികങ്ങള്‍ ആയിരിക്കും. അവയൊന്നും അവര്‍ വീണ്ടും തങ്ങളുടെ ശക്തിയോടെയും ബഹുമാന്യതയോടും ഉള്ള തിരിച്ചുവരവിന് ഒരിക്കലും വിലങ്ങുതടികള്‍ ആവില്ല.
