I recollect the story of a beggar who was a liar too..

While wandering along the streets, he met a bunch of urchins and announced to them that there was a great feast being given at the royal court..

The children made a beeline to the palace, and were completely disheartened to know that they were duped..

And they were enraged and were trying to return to where the untruthful beggar was last seen, of course, with ominous intent..

But to their amusement they saw that the beggar had also followed them to the Palace..

When confronted, the beggar said,

" I knew that I was lying but still I wanted to come and see whether there was a feast and I would also have a chance to have a nice meal."
