अहमिह कृतविद्यो वेदिता सत्कलानां धनपतिरहमेको रूपलावण्ययुक्तः।

इति कृतगुणगर्वः खिद्यते किं जनोऽयं कतिपयदिनमध्ये सर्वमेतन्न किञ्चित्॥

इन्दिश्चे स्प्रूचे ३६६५ दामोदरद्र्व

ahamiha kṛtavidyo veditā satkalānāṁ dhanapatirahameko rūpalāvaṇyayuktaḥ|

iti kṛtagūnagarvaḥ khidyate kiṁ jano'yaṁ katipayadinamadhye sarvametanna kiñcit||

People become flush with pride with the following thoughts

I am having great learning, knowledge and education

I am an expert, connoisseur in great arts

I am having a lot of money,

I am the last word in physical attractiveness and charisma

They are ineed too conceited with the qualities and attributes and the advantages they possess currently

Just think, they are just getting prepared for great sorrow and misery sooner or later.

In the course of few days, by turn of fate, all these advantages could vanish, all these advantages would then mean nothing to them or anyone.

इह here अहं I कृतविद्यः thoroghly educated and learned अस्मि am अहं I सत्कलानां of great arts वेदिता expert, connoisseur अस्मि am अहं I एकः one, foremost धनापतिः affluent, flush with money भवामि am अहं I रूप form लावण्य attractiveness युक्तः endowed withअस्मि am इति thus कृत entertaining, doing गुण गर्वः pride over traits possessed अयं this जनः person खिद्यते किं would come to grief, is it not ? कतिपय in a few दिन days मध्ये in the midst एतत् सर्वं all this न किचित् nothing much इति स्यात् thus become
