Would ever remain happy, and would live happily for ever.

सर्वसाम्यमनायासं सत्यवाक्यं च भारत।
निर्वेदश्चाविधित्सा च यस्य स्यात् स सुखी नरः॥
महाभारते शान्तिपर्वणि॥

Bheeshmapitamaha tells Yudhistira
Oh worthy son of the Bharata race
A person
Who has the capacity to treat all people around him as equals and to accord respect to them that way
Who would, by nature would be satisfied with applying physical exertions only to the extent they would yield optimal results, one who would not fritter away his energies on useless work
Who has made it a habit only to speak truthful words
Who is indifferent to desires and cravings which are not realistic
Who is not overly ambitious and who is not intolerant about the welfare of others
Would ever remain happy, and would live happily for ever.
