I think, and form my views and express my views and then go in search of texts or philosophies to find parallels, validations or dissenting notes.
I never assume that my thoughts and ideas are the correct ones.
Therefore, for me every text or opinion is exterior and incidental.
In addition, I have felt that even my own instincts do not agree as time and space changes.
Therefore, I just go by my observations at some particular point of time and express it.
I am not even hesitant to contradict myself.
True, I have read Gita and the principles contained therein might have influenced my thinking process.
That is all.And nothing more to it.
Even my idea of God is that it is an abstract entity that helps in measuring the gap between our imperfections and our definition of purpose and the mind might attempt to fill the gap using the assumed perfection of the Divine.
At the emotional plane when disturbances lead the mind astray, the God idea could act as a prop.. To keep us erect and stable.
But we should be what we are and not mere walking sticks.
