गर्वाय परपीडायै दुर्जनस्य धनं बलम्।
सुजनस्य तु दानाय रक्षणाय च ते सदा॥

garvāya parapīḍāyai durjanasya dhanaṁ balam|
sujanasya tu dānāya rakṣaṇāya ca te sadā||

The bad people use the money they have to cause difficulty and misery to others and also to show off and rub in their arrogant ways.
The good people always use money in their possession to help and protect fellow human beings who are in need and to make proper and generous gifts

ദുഷ്ടത നിറഞ്ഞ മനസ്സുള്ളവര് അവര് സമ്പാദിച്ച് കൂട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്ന പണവും സമ്പത്തും ചുറ്റും ജീവിക്കുന്ന മറ്റു വ്യക്തികള്ക്ക് വിഷമവും അലോസരവും പീഡനവും എല്ലാം ഉണ്ടാക്കുവാനും പിന്നെ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം ദുഷ്പ്രതാപവും ധാര്ഷ്ട്യവും മറ്റുള്ളവരില് അടിച്ചേല്പ്പിക്കുവാനുമായി മാത്രമായിരിക്കും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്.
