यो मूर्खं लौल्यसंपन्नं राजद्वारिकमाचेरेत्।
मिध्यावादं विशेषेण तस्य कार्यं न सिद्ध्यति॥
इन्दिश्चे स्प्रुचे २५५३ पञ्चतन्त्रे
yo mūrkhaṁ laulyasaṁpannaṁ rājadvārikamāceret|
midhyāvādaṁ viśeṣeṇa tasya kāryaṁ na siddhyati|| i
ndiśce spruce 2553 pañcatantre
If one tries to cultivate and get things done through a stupid, silly but loud-mouthed fellow who is a liar too, guarding the doors of the Royal palace, his mission is not going to succeed. The fellow may look close to the royalty and even claim so, but no useful purpose will be served. We see many such avatars in the vicinity of centres of power.
