As He wanders along the sandy banks of river Yamuna

kadā vṛndā'raṇye vimalayamunātīrapuline
carantaṁ govindaṁ haladharasudāmādisahitam|
aye kṛṣṇasvāmin madhuramuralīvādana vibho
prasīdetyākrośannimiṣamiva neṣyāmi divasān||
from subhashitaratnaakaram
in Chaityanya charitavali too with slight variation.
=================
A captivating verse indeed..
Especially for those who love Krishna
and those who can love Him alone..
==================
Meaning
-----------
When is it going to happen that
I shall be in a blessed state
spending long long days
as if they are just tiny seconds
calling aloud to Govinda the protector of cows, the earth and the consummate orator..
"You my master Krishna,
you the supreme artist
playing sweetly on your flute,
may You be pleased with me,"
As He wanders along the sandy banks of river Yamuna
in the happy company of
Balarama the wielder of a musala or wheel barrow,
and of Sudhaama the bosom friend,
and many other liitle friends ..
