वैद्यो गुरुश्च मन्त्री च यस्य राज्ञः प्रियंवदाः।
शरीरधर्मकोशेभ्यः क्षिप्रं सः परिहीयते॥
इन्दिस्चे स्प्रूचे २९०२ हितोपदेशे
vaidyo guruśca mantrī ca yasya rājñaḥ priyaṁvadāḥ|
śarīradharmakośebhyaḥ kṣipraṁ saḥ parihīyate||

If the Royal physician, Royal preceptor and the Prime Minister of the state would speak only words that would please the King, then be assured that the King would lose his health and would deviate from the path of law and justice and that the state treasury would be drained empty. It is the duty of the Doctor, minister and the preceptor to ensure that they are completely honest and realistic in their avowed professions
