Normally I am not a supporter of any political party.. Nor am I allergic to the noble ideas and goals finding their place in the election manifestos of any political party.. But the recent results in an election set me thinking, as a neutral being.. Just quoting my own post elsewhere, a few days ago.
" In fact, here, it is a contest between communal polarization, and sensible tolerance,, and the polarization in the line of faith etc seem to carry the day and the monolithic nature of the populace which would tend to treat human beings as just humans and not part of some shapeless mass segregated and bundled together on the basis of some creeds , appear to have developed serious cracks or fissures....
This is the issue that should attract our attention,, especially the youth..
The colour of a flag, the method of worship and similar things should be secondary considerations..
Pressure groups and lobbying are inherent in any political system but tendencies to divide people on such considerations gaining upper hand over decent coexistence with a desire for the welfare of all, and a sense of give and take to achieve this, can simply destroy or at least erode the welfare of all..
This exactly is my anxiety, ... political idols are secondary.."
