सकृदुक्तगृहीतार्थो लघुहस्तो जिताक्षरः।
सर्वशास्त्रसमालोकी नाम लेखकः॥
इन्दिश्चे स्प्रूचे ३०९० चाणक्य
sakṛduktagṛhītārtho laghuhasto jitākṣaraḥ |
sarvaśāstrasamālokī prakṛṣṭo nāma lekhakaḥ||

An excellent writer is one
Who could grasp, assimilate whatever is spoken around,
Who could write with ease as far as idea and scripts are concerned, who has mastered the nuances of presentation and language,
And
Who always ensures take care to acquire reasonably good ideas about all that is happening in the fields of arts and sciences.
