sitas reminder to Rama



अधर्मं तु सुसूक्ष्मेण विधिना प्राप्यते महान्।
निवृत्तेन च शक्योऽयं व्यसनात् कामजादिह॥ २॥
त्रीण्येव व्यसनान्यत्र कामजानि भवन्त्युत।
मिथ्यावाक्यं तु परमं तस्माद् गुरुतरावुभौ॥ ३॥
परदाराभिगमनं विना वैरं च रौद्रता।
मिथ्यावाक्यं न ते भूतं न भविष्यति राघव॥ ४॥
कुतोऽभिलषणं स्त्रीणां परेषां धर्मनाशनम्।
तव नास्ति मनुष्येन्द्र न चाभूत् ते कदाचन॥ ५॥
मनस्यपि तथा राम न चैतद् विद्यते क्वचित्।
स्वदारनिरतश्चैव नित्यमेव नृपात्मज॥ ६॥
धर्मिष्ठः सत्यसंधश्च पितुर्निर्देशकारकः।
त्वयि धर्मश्च सत्यं च त्वयि सर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम्॥ ७॥
तच्च सर्वं महाबाहो शक्यं वोढुं जितेन्द्रियैः।
तव वश्येन्द्रियत्वं च जानामि शुभदर्शन॥ ८॥

adharmaṃ tu susūkṣmeṇa vidhinā prāpyate mahān।
nivṛttena ca śakyo'yaṃ vyasanāt kāmajādiha॥ 2॥
trīṇyeva vyasanānyatra kāmajāni bhavantyuta।
mithyāvākyaṃ tu paramaṃ tasmād gurutarāvubhau॥ 3॥
paradārābhigamanaṃ vinā vairaṃ ca raudratā।
mithyāvākyaṃ na te bhūtaṃ na bhaviṣyati rāghava॥ 4॥
kuto'bhilaṣaṇaṃ strīṇāṃ pareṣāṃ dharmanāśanam।
tava nāsti manuṣyendra na cābhūt te kadācana॥ 5॥
manasyapi tathā rāma na caitad vidyate kvacit।
svadāranirataścaiva nityameva nṛpātmaja॥ 6॥
dharmiṣṭhaḥ satyasaṃdhaśca piturnirdeśakārakaḥ।
tvayi dharmaśca satyaṃ ca tvayi sarvaṃ pratiṣṭhitam॥ 7॥
tacca sarvaṃ mahābāho śakyaṃ voḍhuṃ jitendriyaiḥ।
tava vaśyendriyatvaṃ ca jānāmi śubhadarśana॥ 8॥

Sita's evaluation of Rama (Valmikiramayana Aranyakandam)
Rama, Sita and Lakshmana are exloring the Forest Area of Dandakaranya. They paid a visit to the hermitage of Suthikshna where they were imparted a lot of knowledge about Dharma and conduct of righteous life. Sita is always conscious and ever proud of the Saint like adherence to Dharma by Bhagavan Rama.
As they departed from the hermitage of Sutheekshna, Sita engages in a converstaion with Rama.
My Lord, the Dharma of Laws of propriety as expounded in great detail by the Sage could be followed to the last word in its real spirit only by only a person who has completed cleansed himself and distanced himself from all the sins and propensities for sins arising in the mind through the operation of senses and emotions that normally arise to ordinary humans.
In this world, the sins or sinful actions arising out of the wayward tendencies of the mind are three, is it not?
1. Telling lies, stating or presenting things with dishonesty, being dishonest in action and spirit is the first grievous sin
Two sins that are even more serious that the first mentioned abouve are
2. Coveting the spouses or Ladies belonging to others
3. Feeling enmity and hatred for others for no reason, and the eagerness to harm or even torture others without any valid reason or without provocatin.
Oh my Lord Raghava, uttering lies or giving out false promises is never a thing that would arise even in your remotest thougts.
Can anyone even believe or allege that my Rama will ever indulge in having wrong thoughts about other women, the thoughts that would cause serious damage to propriety and righteous conduct ? Never.
Oh Lord of the entire earth, such faulty and toxic thought have never arisen in your mind in the past. Such thoughts are not there at present, and you will not entertains such thoughts ever in future. Such thoughts would not cross your mind even in the remotest imagination.
Rama, you are ever devoted and deeply attached in love with your own wife (Me Sita), You are following the path of Dharma or propriety ever without interruption, you are honesty personified and you have adjourned to forest to fulfil the wishes of your father ( although the entire world is there just for your taking). In fact whatever is there in the universe that can be termed as great is simply residing in you, entrenched in your persona. ( Here Sita Devi implies that Rama is just the Supreme being manifesting on this earth in the guise of a human being)
My Sweet Lord, your greatness, the sterling qualities and attributes manifesting in you, could be understood in the right manner only by Sages and Saints who have vanquished their sense organs and could think beyond the ordinary. However, I know fully and thoroughly about your greatness, your eagerness and capacity to grand benefits and show goodwill to deserving persons. I am fully aware of the fact that you are the one who has vanquished all the sense organs and is a jitendriya.
