नान्या स्पृहा रघुपते हृदयेऽस्मदीये सत्यं वदामि च भवानखिलान्तरात्मा॥

भक्तिं प्रयच्छ रघुपुङ्गव निर्भरां मे कामादिदोषरहितं कुरु मानसं च॥

कोसलेन्द्रपदकञ्जमञ्जुळौ कोमळावजमहेशवन्दितौ। जानकीकरसरोजळालितौ चिन्तकस्य मनभृङ्गसङ्गिनौ॥

ब्रह्मांभोदिसमुद्भवं कलिमलप्रध्वंसनं चाव्ययम् श्रीमच्छंभुमुखेन्दुसुन्दरवरं संशोभितं सर्वदा।

संसारामयभेषजं सुमधुरं श्रीजानकीजीवनम् धन्यास्ते कृतिनः पिबन्ति सहतं श्रीरामनामामृतम्॥

रामचरित मानसे

nānyā spṛhā raghupate hṛdaye'smadīye satyaṁ vadāmi ca bhavānakhilāntarātmā||

bhaktiṁ prayaccha raghupuṅgava nirbharāṁ me kāmādidoṣarahitaṁ kuru mānasaṁ ca||

kosalendrapadakañjamañjuḻau komaḻāvajamaheśavanditau| jānakīkarasarojaḻālitau cintakasya manabhṛṅgasaṅginau|| brahmāṁbhodisamudbhavaṁ kalimalapradhvaṁsanaṁ cāvyayamśrīmacchaṁbhumukhendusundaravaraṁ saṁśobhitaṁ sarvadā|saṁsārāmayabheṣajaṁ sumadhuraṁ śrijānakījīvanam|dhanyāste kṛtinaḥ pibanti sahataṁ śrīrāmanāmāmṛtam||

ബ്രഹ്മാംഭോദിസമുദ്ഭവം കലിമലപ്രധ്വംസനം ചാവ്യയം

ശ്രീമച്ഛംഭുമുഖേന്ദുസുന്ദരവരം സംശോഭിതം സര്‍വദാ।

സംസാരാമയഭേഷജം സുമധുരം ശ്രീജാനകീജീവനം

ധന്യാസ്തേ കൃതിനഃ പിബന്തി സതതം ശ്രീരാമനാമാമൃതം

രാമചരിത മാനസത്തില്‍ നിന്ന്

Oh master of the Raghu clan, Ramachandra , I promise with solemnity before you, I have no other desire in my heart except (attaining oneness with you at your lotus feet).. You are the life and soul inside me that makes me alive, and therefore you are aware of that truth. You, the foremost among the Raghu, please grant me utter and overflowing devotion to you. And may you be pleased to make my mind divested entirely of evil propensities like lust and cupidity.

Are attractively mellow, and are being worshipped by divine beings starting from Brahmadeva and Shiv

Are being caressed for by the soothing hands of Mother Sita, Janaki, the Daughter of Janaka

That pair of feet is are the closest friends and associates to the minds of the persons who meditate upon the Lord, such minds are like beetles that drone around the lotus in the shape of the Divine feet of Rama.

Indeed realized and fortunate are those great souls that find happiness in drinking the ambrosia (amrita) that is the name of Rama

That divine name that reverberates glowingly for ever, around the lips of Lord Shiva, the

Shankara

That name which is the medicine for our greatest malady in the shape of miserable existence in this world of woes

That name that is sweet beyond any comparison

That name which is the life breath of Janaki, Mother Sita.
