we cannot drink to our hearts content because we have no hearts while we drink

If one is tempted to drink but is afraid of the presence of God in him then I can give a free advice
Remember the old panchatantra story of the monkey and crocodile?
The crocodile wants to have the heart of the monkey as a medicine for his missus. The monkey declares that the heart is kept safely tied to a branch of tree
The crocodile releases the monkey and asks him to fetch the heart and the monkey bolts for his life.
And the blessed Lord Krishna states that the God is residing in the hearts of all beings..easwarah sarvabhootaanaam..
ईश्वरः सर्वभूतानां हृद्देशे अर्जुन तिष्टति
So like that monkey if we too can keep our hearts in some place away from the body then we too can drink as the God is away
Just assume that your heart is kept away in a locker.
Alternately you can fall in love and give your heart to your loved one.
(But drunkard would not get many lovers)
But then we cannot drink to our hearts content because we have no hearts while we drink
