My teachers and trainers are for me Gods personified

अधिगम्य गुरोर्ज्ञानं छात्रेभ्यो वितरन्ति ये।

विद्यावात्सल्यनिधयः शिक्षकाः मम दैवतम्॥

adhigamya gurorjñānaṁ chātrebhyo vitaranti ye |

vidyā vātsalya nidhayaḥ śikṣakāḥ mama daivatam||

My teachers and trainers are for me Gods personified. They have acquired knowledge and erudition from great Gurus, preceptors and their own eminent teachers. And they, having become treasurehouses of knowledge and unconditional love for the students, are imparting such knowledge to their pupils.

One would become a good teacher or trainer only if he had acquired knowledge from a great teacher. And by their erudition, and deep affection for the students, and through unconditional commitment to their profession, become divine beings in human forms.

അധിഗമ്യ ഗുരോർജ്ഞാനം ഛാത്രേഭ്യോ വിതരന്തി യേ ।

എന്‍റെ അധ്യാപകരും ശിക്ഷകരും എനിക്ക് ദൈവങ്ങളാണ്.

അവർ മഹാന്മാരായ ഗുരുക്കളിൽ നിന്നും അവരുടെ അധ്യാപകരിൽ നിന്നും ഏറെ ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ അറിവും ജ്ഞാനവും നേടിയെടുക്കുന്നു. സ്വയം അറിവിന്‍റെയും സ്നേഹത്തിന്‍റെയും നിധികൾ ആയി മാറുന്നു.. ആ അറിവും സ്നേഹവും ശിഷ്യരിലേക്ക് കലവറയില്ലാതെ പകര്‍ന്നു കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

അതെ, ഒരാൾ നല്ല അദ്ധ്യാപകനോ ശിക്ഷകനോ ആവണമെങ്കിൽ അയാൾക്ക് ഒരു നല്ല ഗുരുവിൽ നിന്ന് ശിക്ഷണം ലഭിച്ചിരിക്കണം. അത്തരം അദ്ധ്യാപകർ സ്വന്തം അറിവും ജ്ഞാനവും കൊണ്ടും, തന്റെ ശിഷ്യർക്കായി മനസ്സിൽ കരുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന പരിധിയില്ലാത്ത സ്നേഹവും കരുതലും പുറത്തെടുത്തും, സ്വന്തം തൊഴിലിനോടുള്ള ആഴമേറിയ പ്രതിബദ്ധത കൊണ്ടും, ഈ ഭൂമിയിൽ നടന്നു നീങ്ങുന്ന ദൈവങ്ങളായി മാറുന്നു.

Every moment is a teacher Every incident is a teacher.. Every experience is a teacher..

Human life is a contnuous saga of learning and understanding..

When we read from books, or from teachers, we are aware that we are being taught..

But our sense organs as long as we are alive are in touch with all that is outside and everything that happens is understood and the impression created are stored in our memories..

Such memories are recalled and put to use by us and this happens primarily on the basis of the efficiency of our own mind and intellect..

If we keep our minds and intellect uncluttered and highly receptive and remain without much prejudice, we learn our lessons in life properly.. and in a spontaneous manner too.

In that sense every moment is a teacher

Every incident is a teacher..

Every experience is a teacher..

Pranams to all the teachers.. the teachers by profession, or teachers by chance..

It is teachers day today.

How one should behave when he is destined to lead and he is a teacher too..

my fond desire in life was to be a teacher.. I have taught children and even youth not as a professional teacher.. I was qualified to be a teacher too.. But then taxation too over..

I agree that Love and affection should be there in deserving cases but we must alway give the impression that even if as teachers we agree and accommodate that agreement and accommodation is our choice.

Be friendly but do not permit anyone to take you for granted.

And never leave fairness.

Then of course God is there

The first hallmark of a teacher is that he should have the upper hand.. Never forget it..

People may even mistake you to be brash and insensitive..

but watch every teacher across history..and culture.. he was assertive..

Assertive monologue often works better that assertive dialogue.. A student of yours is alway a seeker in want of something..

the avant garde would even say you have to reach out to the level of the students and raise them up holding their hands..

That is okay..

But when you hold the hand of a student they should know that their master is holding their hands.

The teacher too should know that...
