One should never give up his attempts at doing hard work to succeed in life.
The meaning of the slokam is
If a person wants to succeed in life, he should go not abandon hard work thinking with resignation that things are controlled by fate
One cannot obtain oil from til or sesame without crushing the seeds in an oil press

വിധിയാണ് നല്ലതും ചീത്തയും വരുത്തുന്നത് എന്ന് കരുതി അശ്രദ്ധയോടും അലസതയോടും ജീവിതം തള്ളിനീക്കരുത്
എള്ളില്‍ നിന്ന് എണ്ണ കിട്ടണമെങ്കില്‍ എള്ള് ചക്കില്‍ ഇട്ടു ആട്ടിയേ മതിയാവൂ.
