jana gana man adhinaayaka jay he

A query received  Regarding Gurudev Tagore's Jana gana mana adhinaayaaka jaya he
"Quote,, Jana Ghana mana,,, why tagore used the words adhee nayaka,,, what does it mean,,, was it a mistake, not debating , humbly curious to know the meaning,,"

My reaction on the issue.
"We need not be apologetic about that..
The poem was penned originally in praise of the ruler of that period..
But when the poem is adopted as the song of free India, all of us had the clear understanding that the same words being used to signify the Supreme being.. who is the adhi naayaka or supreme God who is the lord and controller of the minds of the large number of citizens of the country and who is to there to grant great fortune to Bharat.. and we are wishing victory to Him and in turn to our own Nation..
So the second context when we adopted it as the national anthem of India is very noble and everyone who chants that song thinks of the Supreme Divine being who grants fortune to Our Mother India and we never think of any British Monarch..
So where is the problem?..
In fact, the words of great visionaries, irrespective of being spelt out in different contexts, become prophetic..
And Gurudev was indeed a great visionary..
Adhi Naayaka, as we understand when we chant our National Anthem is the Supreme Being or our own Sovereignty personified.

our National Anthem

the song Jana Gana Mana adhinaayaka... our National Anthem-- simply stirs our very existence with love, respect and sense of commitment for our India..

and every time we listen to our National Anthem many sweet emotions simply erupt inside.. which are incapable of being expressed in words

More than the words and music which are indeed sublime, the very thought that it is in praise of our India.. and that it is a unique honour for every Indian to stand up and sing.. fills us with pride..

And the National Anthem sung and videoed in the backdrop of the supreme sacrifice of our security and military personnel on the black day of Bombay incident of 26/11 makes it all the more sacred..

Sacredness made poignant by the sacrifice of those martyrs

Who will not stand up and sing.?. and who will not shed a few drops of tears to respect and honour those martyrs..?

If someone refused to stand up and listen,.. I can only ask.. How is it possible?
