सर्वौषधीनां अमृत प्रधाना
सर्वेषु सौख्येष्वशनं प्रधानं
सर्वेन्द्रियाणां नयनं प्रधानं
सर्वस्य गात्रस्य शिरः प्रधानं
चाणक्य नीति
sarvauṣadīnāṁ amṛta pradhānā
sarveṣu saukhyeṣvaśanaṁ pradhānaṁ
sarvendriyāṇāṁ nayanaṁ pradhānaṁ
sarvasya gātrasya śiraḥ pradhānaṁ
cāṇakya nīti
Of all the medicinal potions the most important is amrutham(ambrosia-elixir) which invigorates you back to life. Of all comforts in the world a sumptuous meal tops the list. Of all the sense organs the eye is most important and of all the parts of the body, the head is the vital one.
