शूरस्योर्जितचित्तस्य सिंहविक्रान्तिचारिणा।
दिष्टभावं गतस्यापि विषये मोदते प्रजाः॥
इन्दिस्चे स्प्रुचे ३०१५ महाभारते
śūrasyorjitacittasya siṁhavikrānticāriṇā|
diṣṭabhāvaṁ gatasyāpi viṣaye modate prajāḥ||
indisce spruce 3015 mahāabhārate
When an extremely bold and valorous person, who is of very strong will, whose prowess exceeeds even the lion, attains martyrdom in a war, fight or combat, his own children and clansmen and his countrymen, all can genuinely rejoice.
This was the idea about the honour of a soldier .. as described in Mahabharatham.
