गुणशतशालिनि पिशुनः केवलदोषं निभालयति।
कोलः कमलतडागे कर्दममात्रं गवेषयति॥
इन्दिस्च्चे स्प्रूचे ४०१६ कवितामृतकूपे॥
guṇaśataśālini piśunaḥ kevaladoṣaṁ nibhālayati|
kolaḥ kamalataḍāge kardamamātraṁ gaveṣayati||
indiscce sprūce 4016 kavitāmṛtakūpe||
The habitual faultfinder, the one who specializes only in spotting defects in something and highlighting it, would ferret out a single defect, even though such defect is rare and is negligible when compared to the hundreds of virtues he finds in a person or object. The wild pig, when it enters a lotus pond filled with lots and many blooming flowers, would straightaway seek only the dirt at the bottom of the pond. It would never care about the beauty of the blooming lotuses.
