I am never afraid of contradicting myself..

Just as we find even in upanishads like Taittareeya, Chandogya, Brihadaranyaka etc, the human thought process, behaviour, level of peceptions etc have various levels.. From instictual, through empathetic and spiritual sheaths it reaches the sublimest levels when alone the human minds resonates or even become one with the supreme intelligence.. So if the same set of variables or data are tested with reference to those various levels the interpretations and the realizations would vary vastly.. We have to keep that in mind, and it is essential for sanity that we keep each level insulated from the others.. Many just give up certain levels and try to remain in the levels which are comfortable to them.. But I think the chemistry and biology of our own body-mind conglomerate will not permit us to remain in the heady, detached regions for long..
If someone calls me a fool and I take it at the egotistic level, my adrenalin raises and I will pick up quarrels.. I would try to attack people.. But when I jump to some other levels like empathetic, spiritual etc, I may be persuaded to let the matter rest on a live and let live basis.. When I reach the level of resonance with the supreme, I would tend to ignore or even become insensitive to an insult because I will be thinking that I am one with the Supreme and that Supreme is present everywhere and so no one can insult another.. I am not delving deep into spiritual matters but am trying to illustrate the fact that the same set of facts or circumstance can stimulate varied levels of responses at the same time in the same individual and when there is a multiplicity of Individual and there is a variation in space and time the possibilities are infinite..
Therefore, controversy is the sport of any agile mind.. and controversy need not leave to fist fights..
Frankly I quote from texts to strengthen my ideas and views and I never form any view or opinion based merely on any text , be it Veda, Purana, Itihasa, or secular literature or even texts on science or law..So I am not shackled by any ism, and I am never afraid of contradicting myself..
