The life in this material world and the spiritual life are two different entities, like two rooms in our house. say the pooja room and bedroom or living room..
Our activities and use of the space in the two rooms are not usually mixed up..
We require Pooja room, dining hall, kitchen and toilet too. Each has its relevance.
It may be great indeed to have clear ideas about the perishable nature of our body and the lack of stability in our worldly existence, but anyway we have to exist in this material world as long as we are alive, and we have to ensure that we survive here without being laughed at or insulted by by others..
In literature, especially in what we call spiritual literature, we are taught that the matters of the world and our personal relations and love are all secondary, inferior and even are sinful and form blocks in our spiritual progress..
But that is only a point of view.. We have to eat, breathe, drink, dress up, clean ourselves and our houses etc,, as long as we are alive..
The balance or the golden mean is somewhere between extreme spirituality and extreme sensuality..
The greatand successful people among us became great just because they knew how to balance the two.. the worldly and the divine
