Study is always the tapasya of the self, the Individual.
Others only supply information or data. .
The material supplying knowledge might come from some other person like a guru, friend, neighbour or even a stranger, from sounds, signals, from animals and from written books or recorded material too.
However, the information or material that reaches a person becomes knowledge only when it is properly received by him and it is processed with least distortion by his mind.
It is only after this processing, and after suffering all the possible distortions and manipulations that it emerges as thoughts, speeches or writings of a person.
No machine is hundred percent efficient..
If even fifty percent of what goes in comes out with some semblance of sense, that would be an achievement for the writer and a relief for the reader.
However, there are a lot of scholars on the web who just copy links or the material verbatim-- the errors and howlers included faithfully-- and re-produce it for the consumption of others as if they are cent percent their own creations with Agmark seal..
