अनिच्छन्तोऽपि विनयं विद्याभ्यासेन बालकाः ।
भेषजेनेव नैरुज्यं प्रापणीयाः प्रयत्नतः ॥
महासुभाषित संग्रहे १३७० सूक्तिमुक्तावली
Even if young boys (and girls too) are not inclined to conduct themselves with discipline and humility, they should be trained with extra efforts to behave properly with restraint and civility. This is just like a person who is under the grip a a disease would be forcibly administered medicines that would cure the illness even if such drugs could be of bitter taste
അനിച്ഛന്തോഽപി വിനയം വിദ്യാഭ്യാസേന ബാലകാഃ ।
ഭേഷജേനേവ നൈരുജ്യം പ്രാപണീയാഃ പ്രയത്നതഃ ॥
മഹാസുഭാഷിത സംഗ്രഹേ ൧൩൭൦ സൂക്തിമുക്താവലീ
ബാലന്മാരും ( ബാലികമാരും) അവര് വിനയത്തോടും അച്ചടക്കത്തോടും പെരുമാരുന്നതില് വിമുഖത കാണിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കില് അവരുടെ ആ വൈമുഖ്യം അവഗണിച്ചു പോലും അവര്ക്ക് എളിമയും ചിട്ടയും ജീവിതത്തില് ഉണ്ടാവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം ഉള്ള പരിശീലനവും മാര്ഗദര്ശങ്ങളും ഏറെ കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടാണ്എങ്കിലും നല്കേണ്ടതാണ്. ഒരാള്ക്ക് രോഗം പിടിപെട്ടാല് അത് മാറാന് എത്ര കയ്പ്പുള്ള മരുന്നും രോഗി അത് ഒട്ടും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടില്ല എങ്കിലും നിര്ബന്ധിച്ച് സേവിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ ആണ് വിനയത്തിനും അച്ചടക്കത്തിനും വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പരിശീലനം.
