दैवात्ततो विगलितो गिलितो बकेन वक्रे विधौ वद कथं व्यवसायसिद्धि' ॥ ७५ ॥

A tiny shining fish, innocent and poor, was caught by a rowing fisherman. The fish slipped out of his tough hand but was caught in the fishermans net. It wriggled out of the maze of the net perhaps by the force of temporary luck, but then strightaway fell into the mouth of a stork eagerly waiting, and was gobbled up by the bird. Tell me, if your fate Is crooked, how on earth can you find any success in any of your avowed projects ?

ദൈവാത്തതോ വിഗലിതോ ഗിലിതോ ബകേന വക്രേ വിധൌ വദ കഥം വ്യവസായസിദ്ധി ॥ ൭൫ ॥
നദിയില് ഒന്നും അറിയാതെ നീന്തി നടക്കുകയായിരുന്നു ശഫരം എന്ന തിളങ്ങുന്ന മത്സ്യം അടുത്ത് തോണി തുഴഞ്ഞു പോകുന്ന വള്ളക്കാരന്ന്റെ പരുപരുത്ത കൈകളില് പിടിപെട്ടു. വല്ലവിധേനയും വഴുതിയും തുള്ളിയും ആ കൈകളില് നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ട ആ മത്സ്യം ഒരു മുക്കുവന് നിരത്തിയിട്ടിരുന്ന വലയില് ചാടിവീണു. വളരെ പണിപ്പെട്ടു ആ വലയുടെ നൂലാമാലയില് നിന്ന് അല്പസ്വല്പം ഭാഗ്യം കൊണ്ട് പുറത്തേക്ക് വന്നപ്പോള് അത് ഉടനെ ചെന്നുവീണത് ആര്ത്തിയോടെ തുറന്നു പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കൊറ്റിയുടെ നീണ്ട വായിലേക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു. അതോടെ അതിന്റെ കഥ കഴിഞ്ഞു. സുഹൃത്തെ ഒന്ന് ഓര്ത്തുനോക്കി മറുപടി പറയൂ.. വിധി ഒരാളെ കീഴ്പെടുത്താന് വക്രമായ മനസ്സോടെ ഒരുങ്ങി പുറപ്പെട്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞു എങ്കില് പിന്നെ അയാള്ക്ക് ഈ ലോകത്തില് താന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുകയും നടപ്പില് വരുത്താന് ശ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള് എങ്ങനെ ചെയ്തു തീര്ക്കാന് കഴിയും ?
