This earth is held in its right place by truth
The Sun is burning and supplying heat following trtuth
The air is moving around and keeping all alive just bound by truth
Everything has its existence only in Truth
Truth he has its dictionary meaning too ..
Just describing things without distortion or falsification and as they are seen understood..
But the word truth goes far too beyond that
The God himself, Krishna Himself was praised as truth..
This was how He was welcomed to the earth as He was born to Devaki in Kamsa's prison
Only in an environment of truth, we can have some hope..
We have seen nature and her constituents working as per certain laws.. and the behaviour is repeated precisely, predictably and consistently too.. This is the base for truth.. If nature behaves in a chaotic and unpredictable manner, the whole earth and other systems would not have existed..
In the field of ethics, we believe that if we deviate from the path of truthfulness we are warned that very adverse consequences will follow..
A Harishchandra who could stoically face any tribulations to uphold truth is our role model.
Dharmaptutra, was called so because he was truthful.. and we know when he deviated from the path of truth even slightly his wealth of accumulated fame and virtue dwindled.
