Many twin situations pose challenges

Reason and emotion.

Existence and transcience

even peace and turmoil.

We really cannot define the switching point

We do not know when one ceases and the other starts

See the transformation of night to day or day to night. We talk of an intermediary states of dawn and dusk..

But we will be at a loss to freeze the exact moment of transition.

Even in quantum and or particle physics the changeover phenomenon from mass to energy or vice versa cannot be precisely mapped although the quantum of mass or energy as input or output can be precisely measured.

The uncertainty of continuity..

That is beyond our comprehension.

But sure; a point of changeover must be there and someone defines it and makes the transition happen.

Maybe that someone is what we call God..

And my faith in that super controller is exactly my faith in God..

See life just looks static but changes unobtrusively. Statically dynamic..or dynamically static?

A seed sprouts into a plant a bud opens up as a flower..

From sperm and egg we trave to zygote to embryo to infant to adolescent to youth to old to dead..maybe to repeat the cycle.

We perceive every stage but the point of transition is always an enigma.

The existential question of who I am can never be answered because I am changing and the measuring device is also changing relatively with reference to even the infinitesimal slice of time.
