it is a tug of war between good and bad ever

जगतोऽपकृत्युपकृतौ खलसत्पुरुषौ न तृप्तिं आयातः।

ग्रसते हि तमो भुवनं सवितापि सदा प्रकाशयति॥ ७

jagato'pakṛtyupakṛtau khalasatpuruṣau na tṛptīṁ āyātaḥ|

grasate hi tamo bhuvanaṁ savitāpi sadā prakāśayati|| 7

The evil minded fellow is never satisfied with the extent of damage and harm he would create to this world as a whole

At the same time noble-hearted one would never be content with whatever help and service he can render to the world and fellow human beings

The darkness is always moving around trying to cover the entire surface of the earth

And the sun is ever eager to cover the whole of the earth with his brilliant light.

(In fact it is a tug of war between good and bad ever)

जगतः of the world अपकृति causing harm उपक्रुतौ helping खल the evil fellow सत् पुरुषौ noble man too तृप्तिं न आयातः never get satisfied endirely

तमः darkness सदा for ever भुवनं the earth ग्रसते envelopes सविता the sun सदा for ever भुवनं the earth प्रकाशयति च covers with light too

ജഗതോഽപകൃത്യുപകൃതൌ ഖലസത്പുരുഷൌ ന തൃപ്തിം ആയാതഃ।

ഗ്രസതേ ഹി തമോ ഭുവനം സവിതാപി സദാ പ്രകാശയതി॥ ൭

ദുഷ്ടത നിറഞ്ഞ മനസ്സുള്ളവന് ലോകത്തിനും സഹജീവികള്‍ക്കും എത്രയധികം വേദന ഉണ്ടാക്കിയാലും, എത്രയൊക്കെ ശല്യം ചെയ്താലും തുപ്തി ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. അയാള്‍ പുതിയ പുതിയ മര്‍ദ്ദനമുറകള്‍ തേടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും
തരവും നന്മയും ഉള്ള ആളുകള്‍ക്കാവട്ടെ ലോകത്തിലുള്ള എല്ലാവരെയും എത്രയധികം സഹായിച്ചാലും ഈ ഭൂമിയുടെ നന്മയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി എത്രയൊക്കെ പരിശ്രമിച്ചാലും തൃപ്തി വരില്ല. അവര്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സേവനങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള വഴികള്‍ തേടി മുന്നോട്ടു പോകും

നോക്കൂ ഇരുട്ട് തരം കിട്ടുമ്പോഴൊക്കെ ഭൂമിയെ മുഴുവന്‍ വിഴുങ്ങാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.
സൂര്യനാകട്ടെ അസ്തമിച്ചാലും വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ഉദിച്ചു ഭൂമിയെ മുഴുവന്‍ പ്രകാശം കൊണ്ട് നിറച്ചു കൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കുന്നു
യഥാര്‍ത്ഥത്തില്‍ ഇത് നന്മയും തിന്മയും, ഇരുട്ടും വെളിച്ചവും തമ്മിലുള്ള ഒരിക്കലും അവസാനിക്കാത്ത വടംവലി മത്സരം ആണ്.
