क्षन्तव्यो मन्दबुद्धीनामपराधो मनीषिणा।

नहि सवत्र पाण्डित्यं सुलभं पुरुषे क्वचित्॥

kṣantavyo mandabuddhīnāmaparādho manīṣiṇā|

nahi savatra pāṇḍityaṁ sulabhaṁ puruṣe kvacit||

A person with sharp intellect and great knowledge should be prepared to condone or even pardon the errors committed by individuals endowed with intellect which is of a lesser quality, and knowledge that might be inadequate.

It has to be appreciated that great erudition and intellect are not found in plenty among people and that intellectual giants are rare in the world.

मनीषिणा by the person having sharpt intellect, great grasping power मन्दबुद्धीनां of lesser intellect, of dull intellect अपराधः error, mistake क्षन्तव्यः should be viewed with patience, should be condoned, should be pardonedपुरुषे in a human being सुलभं available in plenty, available in effusion पाण्डित्यं erudition, scholarship सर्वत्र everywhere न हि not at all दृश्यते seen found

ക്ഷന്തവ്യോ മന്ദബുദ്ധീനാമപരാധോ മനീഷിണാ।

നഹി സവത്ര പാണ്ഡിത്യം സുലഭം പുരുഷേ ക്വചിത്॥

അതി തീക്ഷ്ണമായ ധിഷണാഷക്തിയും ഏറെ അറിവും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും എല്ലാം കൊണ്ട് അനുഗൃഹീതരായ മഹത്തുക്കള്‍ അത്രയൊന്നും അറിവും പഠിപ്പും ഇല്ലാത്ത ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് പറ്റുന്ന അബദ്ധങ്ങളെ സഹിഷ്ണുതയോടുകൂടി വീക്ഷിക്കുകയും അവയെ കാര്യമായെടുക്കാതെ തിരുത്തിക്കൊണ്ട് പോവുകയും വേണം.

ഈ ലോകത്തില്‍ ഏറെ ബുദ്ധിശക്തിയും അറിവും നിറഞ്ഞു നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ആളുകകളെ എല്ലായിടത്തും ധാരാളമായി കണ്ടു എന്ന് വരില്ല.
