कर्तुमकर्तुं शक्तः सकलं जगदेददन्यथा कर्तुम्।
यस्तं विहाय रामं कामं मा धेहि मानसमन्यस्मिन्॥
सुभाषितरत्नमाला २
kartumakartuṁ śaktaḥ sakalaṁ jagadedadanyathā kartum|
yastaṁ vihāya rāmaṁ kāmaṁ mā dhehi mānasamanyasmin||
subhāṣitaratnamālā 2
My mind, do not give your devotion and unflinched attention to anything else other than Rama .. That Rama who is capable of creating this whole universe, who is capable of destroying the whole universe and who is also capable of reconstructing the entire universe in the way he wants.
यः which रामः Rama सकलं everything कर्तुं to do अकर्तुं to undo शक्तः capable of एतद् this जगद् universe अन्यथा कर्तुं do otherwise, create differently अपि too शक्तः is capable मानस my mind तं him विहाय leaving behind अन्यस्मिल् in anoher person कामं desire मा धेहि do not give
കര്തുമകര്തും ശക്തഃ സകലം ജഗദേദദന്യഥാ കര്ത്തും |
യസ്തം വിഹായ രാമം കാമം മാ ധേഹി മാനസമന്യസ്മിന്||
സുഭാഷിതരത്നമാലാ ൨
മനസേ, നിന്റെ ശ്രദ്ധയും ഭക്തിയും ആ രാമനിന് മാത്രമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നിലും ഉണ്ടാവരുത്. ആ രാമന് ഈ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനും ഇല്ലാതാക്കാനും പിന്നെ ഈ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെത്തന്നെ തന്റെ സങ്കല്പപ്രകാരം വേണ്ട വിധത്തില് വീണ്ടും സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനും എല്ലാം കഴിവുള്ളവന് ആണ്.
