इदमस्खलितं धारय वारय परुषाक्षरा वाचः।
सकलजनानां जगति रिपुः परुषवाक् पुरुषः॥
महासुभाषितसङ्ग्रहे ५९४७ हरिहर सुभाषिते सूक्तिमुक्तावली
idamaskhalitaṁ dhāraya vāraya paruṣākṣarā vācaḥ|
sakalajanānāṁ jagati ripuḥ paruṣavāk puruṣaḥ||
mahāsubhāṣitasaṅgrahe 5947 hariharasubhaasthite sukthimuktaavali
The preceptor reminds his disciple in clear terms
Listen to and understand without any scope for wavering or equivocation that you must avoid making speeches or having conversation that contain harsh, coarse, unpleasant or cruel words. Take note that a person who uses harsh and unpleasant words becomes the enemy of all the occupants of this world.
इदं this, this advice, this statement अस्खलितं clearly, without any wavering, without any equivocation धारय you undertand, you comprehend परुषाक्षराः containing harsh, coarse, unpleasant curel words वाचः speech वारय avoid using, desist from परुषवाक् the one who uses, the one who employs harsh and unpleasant words पुरुषः man जगति in this world सकलजनानां of all the people रिपुः enemy भवति becomes
ഇദമസ്ഖലിതം ധാരയ വാരയ പരുഷാക്ഷരാ വാചഃ।
സകലജനാനാം ജഗതി രിപുഃ പരുഷവാക് പുരുഷഃ॥
മഹാസുഭാഷിതസങ്ഗ്രഹേ ൫൯൪൭ സൂക്തിമുക്താവലി ഹരിഹരസുഭാഷിതം
ഗുരു ശിഷ്യന് വളരെ വ്യക്തമായ ഒരു നിര്ദ്ദേശം നല്കു കയാണ്
ശ്രദ്ധിക്കൂ അര്ത്ഥശങ്കയ്ക്കോ അഭിപ്രായവ്യത്യാസങ്ങള്ക്കോ ഒരു സാധ്യതയും ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരു കാര്യം. അക്കാര്യം വ്യക്തമായി ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുകയും ചെയ്യണം. കര്ക്ക ശങ്ങളും ക്രൂരങ്ങളും മറ്റുള്ളവര്ക്ക് വെറുപ്പും വേദനയും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നതും ആയ വാക്കുകള് അടങ്ങിയ സംഭാഷണമോ ചര്ച്ചയോ ഉപന്യാസമോ എല്ലാം നിര്ബന്ധായും ഒഴിവാക്കേണ്ടതാണ്.
കര്ക്കശങ്ങളും ക്രൂരങ്ങളും അസ്വസ്ഥതനല്കുന്നവായും ആയ വാക്കുകള് പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നവന് ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ മുഴുവന് ശത്രുവായി മാറുന്നു.
