वचने का दरिद्रता

हस्तादपि न दातव्यं गृहादपि न दीयते।

परोपकारणार्थाय वचने का दरिद्रता॥

hastādapi na dātavyaṁ gṛhādapi na dīyate|

paropakāraṇārthāya vacane kā daridratā||

Some smart people just do not use their hands to extend help of charity

They would not part with anything available in their house too

However they would talk a lot about helping others and doing charity.

There is not at all any poverty for words..
