क्षणं चित्तं क्षणं वित्तं क्षणं जीवति मानवः

 

क्षणं चित्तं क्षणं वित्तं क्षणं जीवति मानवः।

यमस्य करुणा नास्ति धर्मस्य त्वरिता गतिः॥

kṣaṇaṁ cittaṁ kṣaṇaṁ vittaṁ kṣaṇaṁ jīvati mānavaḥ|

yamasya karuṇā nāsti dharmasya tvaritā gatiḥ||

The mind jumps from one thought or idea or decision to the opposite within split seconds

The accumulation of wealth could disappear without any reason within no time

Life might cease and a man can fall as a corpse without warning even for a second

The God of death, the controller of death has no mercy

And the executive hand of Dharma the eternal law acts with dizzying speed.
