 Comparison and contrast..

We try to bring in as many of common attributes as possible to present a very effective study in similarity..

But when we try to differentiate, we would stress on even trivial dissimilarities..

Both attempts are just to present ones own views as effectively as possible..

Our real stress is neither in comparison or contrast, but we just want to score our point.. we want to win a debate..

Writers, politicians, poets, and even laymen try to do this..

But real life not made of comparisons or similaries.. Nor is it made of differences alone..

No two things are completely similar nor are they entirely dissimilar..

The good God has created things with perhaps with the idea that when we see one of his creations , we might be reminded of another one..

like remembering a man when seeing a monkey..

And then we know man and monkey are not created alike..

(Or at least we believe so)

The study if similarities and contrasts..

adds spice to life..

Often meaning to life too..

But why should be fight either through comparisons

or through contrasts
