One's writing and use of linguistic techniques should be used for effective communication of facts and ideas.One should always keep in mind the needs and standard of the readers
After all the utility of a write up depends on the reader..
The writer already knows about the subject
and so he has no added benefit for himself by writing.
Often,like the musicians or technicians getting more and more versatile with practice or sadhana, authors and writers too become experts in use of language through constant reading and writing..
Their vocabulary and style get fine- tuned...
Even prosaic writng would turn in to poetry..
That can give a nice feeling for the writer..
That can bring a lot of praise among scholars..
But a writer, if he is using the language to convey something for the benefit of all, should develop some sort of sync with the readers.. If he fails to do that, he would become just a museum piece..
A lump of sugar is nice because it is sweet too..
A lump of crystal which may look equally bright cannot be that nice because there is no sweetness in it..
Ageed, one should not stretch the rules of spelling, grammar and etymology while writing or speaking, but he can do well to be simple after that..
The capacity to write in simple language and still to convey worthy things is an art and science..
and such capacity is a gift from God too..
