in any decent and progressive society, there exists some code of conduct..
by convention or by operation of law,
that govern expression of views and opinions in public.. especially when serious social issues are involved..
A professional worth his salt never would give an opinion unless formally requested or unless he is conviced that the application of his expertise would do good to all..
That was the convention..
And conduct to the contrary brought in legal problems and social censure too..
But now anyone can pose as a professional,
and professional advice or an apology of a professional advice can be given by anyone even if he has nothing to do with the profession..
And even for the worst misguidance or misrepresentaion, there is practically no punishment of retribution..
Freedom of talk,
freedom of expression, etc
are worshipped as fundamental rights
because their absence would endanger our lives and divest our existence of its happiness and quality..
but when such right is used to kill the sensisbilites of the society and sanity of the individual, we are facing real danger..
