जिता सभा वस्त्रवता मिष्टाशा गोमता जिता।
अध्वा जिता यानवता सर्वं शीलवता जितम्॥
महाभारते ५-३४-४७
jitā sabhā vastravatā miṣṭāśā gomatā jitā|
adhvā jitā yānavatā sarvaṁ śīlavatā jitam||
mahābhārate 5-34-47
If a person is properly dressed and presents a dignified appearance that way, he would meet with a lot of respect in assemblies and places where a lot of people meet.
If a person is having cows in his possession he is assured of sumptuous meals.
If he is possession of proper vehicles he need not worry much about undertaking long travels even through difficult terrain
And if a person is having great character he will be successful in winning over everything he would require.

ജിതാ സഭാ വസ്ത്രവതാ മിഷ്ടാശാ ഗോമതാ ജിതാ।
അധ്വാ ജിതാ യാനവതാ സര്വം ശീലവതാ ജിതം॥
മഹാഭാരതേ ൫-൩൪-൪൭
വൃത്തിയായും മോടിയായും വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച് ഒരു സഭയിലോ ആള്‍ക്കൂട്ടത്തിലോ എത്തുന്ന ആള്‍ എല്ലാവരുടെയും ശ്രദ്ധയും ഒരുപക്ഷെ ബഹുമാനവും പിടിച്ചുപറ്റും.
ധാരാളം പശുക്കള്‍ ഉള്ള ആള്‍ക്ക് മൃഷ്ടാന്ന ഭക്ഷണം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരിക്കലും വേവലാതിപ്പെടെണ്ടി വരില്ല.
നല്ല വണ്ടികളും വാഹനങ്ങളും കൈവശം ഉള്ള ആള്‍ക്ക് എത്ര വിഷമമേറിയതും എത്ര ദൂരസ്ഥലത്തെക്ക് ഉള്ളതും ആയ യാത്രയായാലും അത് വലിയ പ്രശ്നമില്ലാതെ സാധിച്ചെടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയും.
പിന്നെനല്ല ശീലങ്ങളും സ്വഭാവവൈശിഷ്ട്യവും ഉള്ള ആളാണെങ്കില്‍ അയാള്‍ക്ക് എല്ലാ കാര്യത്തിലും വിജയം നേടാന്‍ കഴിയും
