there are no more stories left which require to be told

 after 

the Brihat Katha, 

Kathasaritsagaram, 

Mahabharatham, etc 

and their offshoots

 like 

Panchatantram...

Hitopadesham , 

Arabian Nights, 

Jathakas..and so on.

We just pick the thread and tell it in our own way..
