If a person has fallen into bad times, sorrowful situation or has become victim to bad habits or vices and if he just feels helpless, cries aloud and keeps on complaining, such wails and loud complaints, in the absesnce of any positive action towards solution would merely keep on increasing. Such useless cries would never cease and mere crying would never fetch any relief.
The idea is that if a person faces real difficulties, even though the natural tendency to cry out and complain, he has to compose himself and try his level best to get out of the mess. Loud crying and shedding of tears might attract some initial sympathy, but staple solutions lie only in effective rearguard action.
यःwhich नरः man व्यसनं प्राप्य having come into the grip of intense sorrow, having fallen victim to addiction or vices केवलं merely मोहात् in a state of helplessness, परिदेवयेत् falls prey to dejection तस्य his क्रन्दनं loud cries and complaints वर्धयति एव merely keep on increasing . परन्तु but तस्य his क्रन्दनस्य of the cries, complaints, wails अन्तं end, conclusion redressal न अधिगच्छति is never reached.
