नास्तीदृशं संवननं त्रिषु लोकेषु किञ्चन।
यथा मैत्री च लोकेषु दानं च मधुरा च वाक्॥
मत्स्यपुराणे॥
nāstīdṛśaṁ saṁvananaṁ triṣu lokeṣu kiñcana|
yathā maitree ca lokeṣu dānaṁ ca madhurā ca vāk||
matsyapurāṇe||
There are no greater factors beyond the following that would cement camaraderie and goodwill among all living beings.
The factors are
1 unselfish and guileless friendship
2 Preparedness to help others physically and materially without any inhibitions.
3 Use of sweet words.
നാസ്തീദൃശം സംവനനം ത്രിഷു ലോകേഷു കിഞ്ചന।
യഥാ മൈത്രീ ച ലോകേഷു ദാനം ച മധുരാ ച വാക്॥
മത്സ്യപുരാണേ॥
മനുഷ്യരുടെ സൌഹൃദവും വിട്ടുപിരിയാത്ത അടുപ്പവും അരക്കിട്ടുറപ്പിക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തില് താഴെ പറയുന്ന മൂന്ന് ഘടകങ്ങള്ക്ക് തുല്യങ്ങളായി വേറെ ഒന്നും കാണുകയില്ല.
൧. സ്വാര്ത്ഥയും കാപട്യവും ഇല്ലാത്ത ചങ്ങാത്തം.
൨. മറ്റുള്ളവര്ക്ക് അകമഴിഞ്ഞുള്ള സഹായം
൩. ഏറെ മധുരങ്ങളായ വാക്കുകളുടെ ഉപയോഗം.
